FC-FD LSx Long Tube Headers (w/ V-bands & Gaskets)

Ronin RX-LS swap headers...  We're finally offering the long tube headers we've always wanted ourselves.   Basics: All 304 stainless steel long tube headers, 100% TIG welded.  We're not even bothering with mild. Designed to fit FC and FD RX7's with LS swaps RX8 and RHD both would require some modification around the steering shaft. V band flanges with interlocking features (male female)  02 bungs (duh) Quasi Merge collectors w/ choke trumpeting back to 3" exit. 1/2" flanges 1 7/8" mandrel bent primaries

Why Long Tube Headers?

Long tube headers optimize exhaust flow and pulse wave tuning, significantly enhancing engine performance. By timing the negative pressure wave to coincide with the exhaust valve opening, we can boost exhaust scavenging and intake charge, resulting in more horsepower.

Performance:

David Vizard's work shows a 6-7 psi advantage in reflected shockwaves, giving long tube headers a substantial performance edge over shorty headers or manifolds. Our headers, 3" longer than some competitors, shift the "tuned" RPM below redline, broadening the high RPM power band, ideal for engines 5.7L and larger.

Fitment & Installation:

• Ground Clearance: Maximum ground clearance with collectors clocked to the ground.
• Compatibility:  Ronin's FD subframe and FC kit fit perfectly.  Minimal clearancing needed for FD Samberg subframes;
• Kits: Compatibility with Hinson and Granny's mounts unknown; likely incompatible with Sikky kits.

Includes:

• V-band clamps and hardware.
• Note: MLS gaskets (Mahle, Cometic) with 1.75" port size recommended.
