Our LS subframes provide dedicated mounting for any of the legendary LS gen3 / gen4 family of motors. We're even being told it works well with LT engines (gen 5) with the addition of some LS to LT adaptor plates. Our kit prioritizes ease of installation, sleek aesthetics, optimal clearances for headers and exhaust, and long-term serviceability. It comes powder coated satin black by, ensuring both style and durability.
Here's the backstory: For years, Ronin had been upgrading and selling FD subframes made by Samberg Performance. When Samberg stopped offering RX7 parts, we took everything we've learned and created a subframe of our own. We've made significant improvements, ensuring the kit is more than twice as stiff as before and features a host of enhancements for easier installation, strength, and improved performance.
The transmission mount was designed around an F-body T56 form factor (our favorite transmission these days is the T56 Magnum-F) but also works with TR6060 using an adaptor plate. Using something else? It’s still easier to modify than start from scratch.
For those who prefer non-LS engines, we offer a version of the kit without welded motor mounts, so you can customize your setup as you see fit for a 20B, 2JZ, K24 or engine of choice. See the "Builder's Version" listing for that.
